Moorpark Homes - The people with experience

Special Builds

The Traditional "Lowland Range" from Moorpark Homes with the cost effectiveness and thermal efficiency of timber frame in keeping with the traditional charm of country homes of yesterday. With planning requirements constantly changing and designs leaning more towards the "cottage style" we have incorporated four new house types of a rural character to enhance our standard range. These however are only an example of what Moorpark can offer. Any of our designs can be modified to achieve the traditional appearance bearing in mind that while your house has the "cottage look" you also have the added advantage of low cost fuel bills, easy maintenance and last but not least an excellent value kit manufactured with quality materials.

The 'Glenesk' house type has been designed from the 'Leafield Park', one of the popular standards. It has been increased in length with the lounge reversed to suit a rural situation. The three spacious bedrooms have built-in wardrobes with an en-suite shower & toilet in bedroom one, a small study which can be doubled as an extra bedroom is suitably located to the rear. A very spacious kitchen combined family room is incorporated with separate utility at the rear entrance. The front elevation is complimented by a stylish entrance porch to give the overall 'cottage effect'

The 'Glencaple' is a traditional 1.5 storey house with dormers to the front elevation. This design consists of a well appointed lounge, dining & kitchen and a large utility & bathroom. The ground floor bedroom has spacious built in wardrobes with window to front elevation. The upper floor has three spacious bedrooms complimented with a shower room toilet & washhand basin. The 'Glencaple' has good design principles, is easily modified to suit most rural locations and can be reversed if the view is required to the rear. This design is idealy suited where planning requirements only allow a single or one & a half storey house design and is particularly appropriate in a conservation area.

The 'Glentrool' is based on the very popular 'Richland Park' house type modified to blend into the countryside with the L-shape to the rear, and the floor area increased to give a large lounge, dining & kitchen area. Four well designed bedrooms are incorporated with a spacious en-suite to the master bedroom. The large bathroomhas roomfor an 'extra shower' with the utility ideally situated at the side entrance. The 'Glentrool' is a spacious, well designed house ideal for those who prefer plenty of living area.

A traditional styled villa with integral garage well suited for a rural location. A well appointed spacious lounge with double doors to hall, a large kitchen and dining room, shower room and utility leading into the garage. Upstairs there are four large bedrooms (two with shower room), a large bathroom and a generous store that can be used as a small study or computer area. An ideal family home.

A traditional villa well suited for a narrower site with a frontage of only 9 metres. A substantial lounge with bay window, a separate family room or snug, large kitchen, dining room, WC leading from the utility and rear entrance. Upstairs there are four family bedrooms (one with en-suite) all with generous wardrobe space. A neat bathroom completes this spacious home ideally designed for the smaller frontage site.

A fine example of one of our larger one & a half storey house types ideally designed for a rural location or ‘one off’ gap site. This charming house is extremely spacious with large lounge, dining room and family area. The spacious entrance leads to the kitchen and master en-suite bedroom on the ground floor. The hallway is further enhanced by a 3-flight stair leading to a gallery landing and 3 well proportioned bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room. The sun room can be optional and can be added either to the side or rear elevation. All in all this is a delightful family home.

A luxurious well-appointed spacious house traditionally designed with dormer windows well suited to a large site in the country. This 7 apartment house is the ideal rural retreat with large bright and tasteful rooms on the ground floor. Double storm doors lead to a large entrance hall, stairway and passageway through to the breakfast/kitchen area, WC and utility. Upstairs there are 3 large coomb ceiling bedrooms with generous wardrobe space and complimented with a spacious bathroom. The Grange Park is a popular house with the higher end of the market. A double integral garage can be added to make it a perfect solution for a village or country setting.

This one and a half storey traditional house type is an ideal choice for the smaller rural site with a 10.600m frontage. It is a low budget house with 3 bedrooms (2 upstairs) and 1 en-suite on ground floor, a spacious lounge, dining area and sizeable kitchen leading to the utility and rear entrance. The front entrance porch enhances the design and character. Another good value house in the Moorpark range.

Undoubtedly the most popular one and a half storey house in the Moorpark range. Tastefully designed with a large lounge, kitchen/dining area suitable to add a sun room or a conservatory at a later date, good sizeable ground floor bedroom, utility and study. 3 attic bedrooms and bathroom to upper floor. The single garage can be enlarged to a double depending on site frontage. A good family home for the narrower site.
